Elizabeth lived quite a hard life when she first moved to Canada. What is more important is how she overcame those obstacles. She moved to Canada alone on July 3rd, 1982, having to leave her children behind. When she was eventually able to bring her three boys to Canada, she was quickly forced to become independent.  With perseverance and  a generous personality, she found a job, bought a place to live and raised her kids all on her own.
